Our Centre

Long Day Care

Long Day Care is licensed for 53 places for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
The centre is set on a quiet street adjacent to a park with lots of trees and a Community Hall.
The centre is fresh, bright and provides a warm and friendly environment to all families and staff.
The centre has a Babies room (0-2 years), a Toddler room (2-3 years) and a Kindy room (3-6 years). Each room also has an age appropriate outdoor environment set up with stimulating equipment and sandpits to enhance the children’s movement and learning.
Large play areas and 2 separate cot rooms for the babies.
Large car park at front of building and keypad security code entry to main play room.
Qualified and experienced staff members in each room.
Air conditioning and heating throughout.

Out Side School Hours Care

Outside School Hours Care is licensed for 20 places for primary school aged children.
The Outside School Hours Care operates from the Community Hall adjacent to the Long Day Care centre.
The hall is a large playroom with 2 store rooms, a kitchen and a male and female toilet.
We also provide an outdoor environment with a bike track and sandpit.
The outdoor area is set up with brand new age appropriate outdoor equipment to enhance the children’s abilities and stimulate their learning.
The Outside School Hours Care has been operating for one year and provides a fantastic After School and Vacation Care program.

Our Services

Long Day Care

An educational program based on children’s individual and group observations of their development and interests is provided for each age group. The centre also includes special event days into their program. One multicultural day, dress-up day and visitor day a month.
Long Day Care offers Before and After School care drop off and pick ups to and from Leda Primary.
Long Day Care offers Vacation Care for primary school aged children.
Long Day Care provides nutritionally balanced home cooked meals. Where possible the centre can also cater for special dietary requirements.
Long Day Care is equipped with age appropriate toys, equipment and resources for all age groups.
Enrolled children are able to attend ‘Kinda Dance’, a weekly music and movement program and ‘Bluearth’, a fortnightly fitness program.

Outside School Hours Care

Outside School Hours Care offers an educational After School and Vacation Care program based on the children’s interests. ‘Bluearth’, a physical fitness program is also included into the children’s fortnightly program.
The programs offer one multicultural day, dress-up day and visitor day a month and planned developmentally appropriate excursions.
Outside School Hours Care offers After School care pick ups from Leda Primary, Peter Carnley Primary, Kwinana Christian Primary and Medina Primary
Outside School Hours Care provides a nutritionally balanced menu. Where possible the centre can also cater for special dietary requirements.
Brand new child resources and equipment.

Staff at both services attend regular training on Early Childhood Development and review the most up to date information for implementation at the centre.
