Welcome to Smarties Early Learning & Kindy in Lesmurdie

Our Centre

  • Licensed for 47 places for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
  • The service is situated in the beautiful hills of Lesmurdie, among lots of trees in a friendly, caring and family orientated atmosphere.
  • The service is double storey with the Kindy room (3-6 years), Schoolies, kitchen and a bathroom upstairs. The Babies room (0-2 years), Toddler room (2-3 years), staff room and laundry downstairs.
  • The Toddler and Kindy outdoor playground is very large with fixed play equipment, sandpits and swings. The Babies room has a separate outdoor environment set up with age appropriate equipment to enhance movement and learning.
  • The centre has a large car park at the entrance to the building.
  • The centre has recently been repainted throughout.
  • Qualified and experienced staff members in each room.
  • Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating in all rooms.
  • Accredited centre.

Our Services

  • An educational program based on children’s individual and group observations of their development and interests is provided for each age group.
  • The centre also includes special event days into their program. One multicultural day, dress-up day and visitor day a month.
  • Offers Before and After School Care drop off and pick ups to and from Lesmurdie Primary, St Bridget’s Primary, Falls Road Primary and Walliston Primary.
  • Offers Vacation Care program and excursions for primary school age children.
  • Provides nutritionally balanced home cooked meals. Where possible the centre can also cater for special dietary requirements.
  • The centre is equipped with age appropriate toys, equipment and resources for all age groups.
  • Enrolled children are able to attend ‘Happy Feet’, a weekly music and movement program.
  • Staff attend regular training on Early Childhood Development and review the most up to date information for implementation at the centre.
